Current Conservation Efforts
The World Wildlife Fund is engaged in a series of conservation efforts concerning the Bengal tiger which include anti-poaching efforts and the halting of the illegal wildlife trade. Additionally, work is put towards preserving areas as tiger habitats, and connecting such areas with corridors to allow for expansion and travel.

In order to revive the Bengal tiger population, I would recommend expanding conservation areas that provide an optimal habitat. Areas with a lot of foliage and near a water source would allow not only for the repopulation of the Bengal tiger, but also the growth of the prey species. |
